Madrid - Il Consiglio oleicolo internazionale (COI) organizza un incontro internazionale sulle azioni integrate da porre in essere contro il batterio della Xylella Fastidiosa. L’obiettivo è di proteggere gli ulivi e il commercio internazionale. L'incontro si svolgerà presso l'Istituto Agronomico Mediterraneo di Bari (CIHEAM), in Italia, dal 12 al 14 dicembre 2018 ( vedi programma allegato). Durante l'incontro, il COI con la collaborazione di CIHEAM, EPPO, IPPC e FAO, elaborerà un piano d'azione integrato contro la Xylella Fastidiosa al fine di prevenire, combattere e mitigare i suoi effetti sugli uliveti e attuare misure per preserevare il commercio internazionale delle piante di ulivo.
