The quality and authenticity of olive oils and olive-pomace oils sold on import markets have been on the agenda of the Standardisation and Research Unit since 2007. Activities related to this topic, which are funded by contributions from signatory associations, will continue in 2021 following the conclusions of the debate on the future of the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives.
The 55th meeting of the associations that have signed the International Agreement has been held by videoconference via IOC headquarters in Madrid last 11 November 2020.
