Madrid - The flag of Uruguay once again flies over the International Olive Council after it recently ratified the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives, 2015. Having been one of the first to support the new International Agreement of the IOC, the accession of Uruguay brings an important actor in the world olive oil market to the IOC and contributes to the dialogue on the most relevant issues relating to economic policy, chemistry, olive oil technology and the protection of the environment.
