UC DAVIS (CA) – An increasing number of Americans are opting for a diet based on extra virgin olive oil. This is the first outcome of the campaign The Olive Oil Promise, launched by the IOC in the United States as one of the main importers of this health product par excellence. Confirmation in this regard has been received from UC Davis in Sacramento, California, where an international scientific symposium was organised with IOC support to discuss the health benefits of extra virgin olive oil.
