The Executive Secretariat of the International Olive Council intends to update the information in its Olive Museums & Routes section.
Every olive-producing country has its own set of olive museums and original initiatives to promote olive cultivation and the production of olive oil and table olives. These include exhibitions, olive routes and olive tourism activities that show the public where olive products come from and how they are produced. These museums are essential to sharing olive culture with the world, so the IOC wants to champion their initiatives and give you the latest information on the activities they offer.
We have contacted the institutions and asked them to send us the following information so we can share it with our readers: the name of the museum, full contact details, their website and social media profiles, and a short presentation of their activities.
Do get in touch (iooc@internationaloliveoil.org) if you know of any other museums so we can contact them and add them to our dedicated section.
Follow the IOC on Twitter (@iocolivenews) and send us photos from your visits to these museums or your walks along the olive roads. We will be happy to share them with our community.
