The Standardisation and Research Unit held the third workshop to harmonise tasting panels with IOC-recognition from 14 to 16 September 2022.
As per its programme of activities for 2022, the Standardisation and Research Unit held a workshop to harmonise the tasting panels that have been granted IOC recognition from 01 December 2021 to 30 November 2022. This workshop, which was free of charge, took place by videoconference with simultaneous interpretation for more than 100 head of panels from 30 countries. The aim of the theoretical-practical activity was to minimise the deviation between panels and encourage the continued training of panel members. For each sample, the data were inserted into an intrapanel platform for their statistical analysis in real time.
The panels registered for this workshop received the samples in July 2022 and stored them until the event following the corresponding instructions.
