In September, the annual variation rate of the Harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) for olive oil in the EU-27 stood at +11.6%.
The HICP in the EU-27 in the month of September stood at 112.6 (2015 = 100).
The variation rate of the HICP stood at +11.6% compared to the same period previous crop year or +0.6% compared to the previous month.
By countries, the largest increases took place in Ireland, Cyprus, Sweden and Poland while Austria, Denmark, Croatia and Portugal reached the smallest increases. 16 countries remains above the EU-27 value.
